Standing Commitee on Quebec Fishing Vessel Safety

The next Standing Committee on Quebec Fishing Vessel Safety (SCFVSQ) will be held at Rimouski on February 13 and 14, 2013. The meeting of the fishing industry of Québec and the industry professionals will take place in the form of a seminar with speakers and exhibitors. The theme of the seminar, “Ten major safety issues for professional fishermen”, was inspired by the Inquiry Report on the question of safety regarding the fishing industry in Canada produced by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. The SCFVSQ meeting will therefore focus on the ten safety issues raised in this report
