Summary

Environment Canada's Marine weather XML files contain forecast conditions, marine weather alerts (warnings and watches), ice alert information and end of season notification.

Description

The Marine Weather XML files contain the same XML information used to generate each marine forecast area page on the Environment Canada web site at the following address: http://weather.gc.ca/marine/region_e.html?mapID=14

The XML files are updated 2-4 times daily at a minimum, but can be updated
"as needed" with issuance of forecast amendments, marine weather alerts
(warnings and watches) and Ice alert information.

Tables describing each of the marine weather XML element tags and their
